I am honored to share that my work was recently featured in the Pediatric e-Journal (Issue #78, March 2025). The theme of this issue is “Working Together and Interdisciplinary Teams”—a subject very close to my heart.
On page 24, I contributed an article about how I came to energy healing, beginning with my own experiences managing pain and muscle spasms, and how this path eventually led me to serve at a children’s hospice and respite home here in Minnesota. In the piece, I describe three very real and moving examples of offering energy healing to children in hospice. Each encounter was unique, but all carried a common thread: comfort, connection, and care beyond words.
What I love most about this work is how it integrates seamlessly into the broader interdisciplinary team—supporting not only the child, but also their families and the professionals caring for them. Energy healing does not stand alone; it joins with medical, psychological, and spiritual support to create a compassionate circle of care.
